Wedding mic setup

What kind of mics should I get to shoot weddings. I want them to be wireless. I have a budget of about $300/mic. To me audio is very important!!!
Also, doees anybody know if any companies make a white/beige lav mic. This would go on the bride.

Why not just mic the groom? It's a lot easier, clothing-wise, and you can still hear the bride just fine because she's only like a foot away the whole time, and nearly all lavs are omnidirectional anyway. I've gotten out of the wedding business, but I used to put a wireless on the groom and a hard-wired either on the lectern or in front of the PA speaker. But yes, lots of people make beige lavalieres. Never seen a white one.

I think your budget is a bit low/mic if audio is very important to you. It's much easier to mic the groom than the bride. Your main goal with the couple is to capture the wedding vows (during ceremony that is). Their proximity, especially if they are facing each other, is sufficient to pick up both bride and groom on the groom's mic. Due to the importance of the vows, the officiate is also commonly mic'd as a backup.

Beyond that, you should find out if people will be speaking at a podium or pulpit to read scripture or poetry or singing. You'll need to mic for them as well. Ideally, all the extra music and speaking will be covered by the house PA system and you can get a feed from the board.

OK then how would I get the feed from the PA mix, If I have the 2 XLR's on the camera used with the lavs? Would/should the PA system recorder of some sorts? What if they don't?
