Wedding Lights and Stands?

I am going to start shooting weddings pretty soon, I have most of my equipment ready except for the lightning. I have the pac 6 on my DVX but to be honest I have no clue on what lightning to buy for use on weddings mostly in banquethalls. Should I purchase a kit? Which brands are good for this? How many lights and stands? I do all my shopping at B&H, any suggestions on what products I should look in to? Thank you for any advices.:undecided

Usually the bride and groom do not want lighting set up. The one on the camera should be fine, and hopefully you won't even have to use that.

The on camera light is all I use at the reception. And most of these places are very dark. I use a diffuser than can be removed if I need to throw the light further away. It actually works quite well and allows the brides white dress to pop from the dark background. I agree with msconce that the bride and groom don't want lighting set up. It's not an ideal situation for video work but most couples are much more interested in seeing all their friends and family and not so concerned with a slightly dark picture. Just stay close to the action.

Good advice from Sacksnack, also most Churches won't let you use lighting of any description & in a lot of cases will let you stand in one position only, not always the best place to get the shots you would like. Best of luck.
