I came across Digital Juice (dvd) which is a collection of graphics, 3rd lower graphic, animations ,stock footage and other elements which can be use in wedding footages.
I wanted to know if persons in this field use a DVD like this or does their create their own elements?
From my experience most people use programs like Motion, After Effects, or Livetype to create animations, lower thirds, etc. You can also use Final Cut Pro, but it's limiting. These programs allow you to create your own elements, or use templates and behaviors to create and animate them. I've never used Digital Juice, so I can't comment on that. Maybe someone else here can.
I find it hard to spend that kind of money, on something I wouldn't use often. I don't do weddings willingly, so I really don't have need of wedding specific stuff. When I do need backgrounds and lower thirds for something, I use Photoshop, Premiere, and will likely use Flash in the near future, and make my own.
