Website Promotion: How Do you find websites to write about your productioN?

[john threat]

Hey guys!
How do you go about finding and convincing websites to write about your production?
I have a comedy film/series that I'm shooting about Monsters that I think is coming out great
But i dont really know what sites to go to for that.
I know some of the horror ones, and this has some gross scenes in it, but all comedy.
Any ideas of sites that you go to for film and series being filmed to promote your project on?

There's a User Films Forum right here in this community. Its designed specifically to promote your projects. Start promoting your project there.

Do you mean publications like Bloody Disgusting?

If so, it's actually really darned hard. It may be a tad easier with a horror production given there are SO many outlets for that online.

Just google: Film Blogs

That'll turn up a lot. You'll want to have as much info as you can ready and create a great pitch email to get whoever's writing to be interested. EVen if they don't respond, you can always get back to them later when you have a teaser.
