So, I went with Just Host (http://justhost.com/) because someone there told me it would support streaming video, but now that I try to actually upload video once getting my site up I run into problems. Once I can't figure it out anymore I shoot them an email and they tell me that they do not support streaming video. I was wondering what other people use for site hosting? Should I just get a Vimeo Plus account and embed the videos in a webpage?

www.lorensimons.net is the URL, I'm no great web designer, but I liked the simple look anyhow.

My website is/was on Bluehost, which supports most everything. I'm not sure how you tried to play streaming video or exactly what they don't support, but I used a flash player when I had it integrated into my website. Since then I've decided it's more reliable to upload it to something like Vimeo and just embed it from there, at least in my opinion.

The simple look is good. One little FYI, the numbers for the pages don't have indicators (to tell what number you are one, other than page 4, which has underlines for the pages you aren't on. A color for the page you are on might be helpful. Oh, and there is no return to the home page.

Overall it looks good.

When they talk about not supporting streaming video they mean that they don't support streaming live video.
What you want to do is upload a H.264 or FLV and use a flash player on your site, you will link to those files and it will work. It is not really streaming as it is just downloading the file from the site, but the player will allow you to start playing the video even before it is done downloading.

ahh that would make the most sense! I actually attempted that and all i ever got was a white screen, but it knew the dimensions of the file in dreamweaver, so for now I have gone with exposure room as they don't post their logo all over my video like youtube does, and they don't charge for hd embedding like vimeo does=] it's pretty fast as well.
thanks everyone for all the help!
