Has anyone heard of a site called www.sizzlingdeals.com? I am looking for a Sony GVD-1000 deck and they have one on sale for $975, the cheapest I have seen. Its in a sealed brand new box and has full warranty according to the site.

I noticed that they have the DVX100 for $2,729 there as well.

Re: Website Check: SizzlingDeals.com

...any time that a site has an item advetised for sale at signifigantly lower than market cost , and even lower than the dealer cost price and has to say that the product is "fatcory fresh" or "brand -new sealed in factory packaging" with a "full warranty".. its a scam. they will take you for every penny you have, and be sure to get more than what the item is worth from you by selling you useless accessories to jack the price up, and if you dont buy accessories, your item which was "in stock" when you asked when you called will suddenly be on "backorder" and you will never see it , and will have to cancell your order to hopefully get your money back quickly unless you get some more accessories. ..just like broadway photo, and all the other "brooklyn syndicate" slime.

Well it has the regular price listed which is consistent with the prices from B&H and EVS, 2 stores I shop all the time. I guess they are having a holiday sale that ends on this Monday. I will have to check with the Better business bureau online to see if they have recieved any complaints. I would like to get this deck for a good price and $975 is the cheapest I have seen it.
