I'm shooting on South Beach tomorrow, should be a brisk 66... :violin:

You my friend, are a cruel human being.:Drogar-Shock(DBG):

Nah, just enjoying it while it's not 90 degrees and 90% humidity! :violent5:
(no hurricanes either!)

Maybe I should start a DVXuser Rooms 4 Rent?

I love visiting snow, just couldn't live in it. Love the vids of it too. The VDSLRs are really capturing it well.

And I salute you, sir, for grillin' in the blizzard!!!

I'm sending my daughter down south near West Palm to stay with my mom after she has some surgery next week, and Amtrak is BOOKED like crazy! She got the last seat on Tuesday's train. The ticketing agent said its from so many people trying to get south to get out of the snow. :(

At least the train is likely to make it.
I heard today that 20,000 flights have been cancelled in the last week due to the weather.
20,000!!!

Hope your daughter heals well in the warm weather!

I'm wearin' flip flops

... but it's droppin' tonight... to 52!

Then back up to 77 tomorrow!

Thanks, but its my mom having surgery. My girl is going down to take care of my mom, but I already told her she will be loving the weather.

I dont like the cold at all...actually nothing in extremes, I will complain about the 100 degree temps and crazy humidity before too long.

For Richard and all the other poor souls trapped in their ice caves.... its the thought that counts, right? haha!

Send some of that cold over here! It's going to be over 96 degrees this weekend. The hottest winter I've seen over here.

You hate snow. Don't make me laugh.

Apparently, you've never had a snowball fight.

Here's the trick to winning:

1/ Go outside, yes, outside in the cold, and pack yourself up a good snowball.

2/ Put in it your freezer for 30 days and wait...

3/ ...till the next snowball fight is called. Place said 'iceball' in your pocket and wait for an opportune time.

4/ Throw said ice ball with all the precision you've mastered over the years and hit him square in the head, and send him to the hospital bleeding crying his eyes out.

5a/ Say, "oops, sorry" and become best friends, and the champion snowball fighter of all time.

5b/ I'll skip the part about getting the 'lashing' back home.

Good times man.

(oh, btw, I took a good one in the head from a rock fight that put me in the hospital, a few baseballs in the head and a hockey stick that knocked a few teeth out of me for life, all in fun, so, just for reference! We were kids back then. Makes me laugh now though. Crazy boogers we were.)

That explains SO much, Gord!:grin::cheesy:

Says the girl who lives in Jacksonville, Florida.

(by the way, we're supposed to get snowed on down here on the beach in southeast North Carolina, so yeah, that's a pretty big storm)

I'm just offering my sympathies for the truly frozen ones up north. Besides, I couldn't get the sand to hold its form on the beach. :)

Actually, its cold for us wimps down here. There is nothing in our wardrobes that work in consecutive days of freezing weather and its raining. I own exactly one long sleeved shirt and NO coats. No sweater. I have a sweatsuit jacket and a couple pairs of flip flops, though.

I live in denial this time of year.
