I hate snow and we got more than 3 feet of it. needless to say I am stuck in the house with my wife, kids, and dvxuser.com. (that aint a bad thing) I really need to move to Miami. I just don't like the stuff.

It just wouldn't be a blizzard if I didn't get on the grill. About to fire up two of my Famous Steaks. The white stuff won't stop me dammit!

You know how jaded I am about snow up here, but damn, that's nuts. We got a huge dump about a month and a half ago that came close to this.

^^^ I'm with you on that. I never understood gas grilling's benefits over the oven other than the sear marks. What's your marinade? Best steak I ever ate had been soaked in bourbon.

Let's just do a pulp fiction remake get rich and move to LA.
that way we don't have to worry about this crap anymore. Cristal is on me!

I just moved from LA, had enough of that...Snow sucks but up here everything is really prepared for it. We got one of the biggest indoor malls in the world, heated underground walkways...Northern California sounds good to me, though.

That's funny, I use burboun to moisten them while they are on the grill. I use a bottle of water, blantons burboun, lee and perrins, spices and shake it on, on every flip. After I marinate 24 hours. I completely submerge the steak when I marinate. I do about 20 cookouts a year form my steaks and stuffed burgers (asian pear, bacon, asiago cheese, and onion).

We only got a couple inches here in Illinois. I'v been watching this storm. Good luck. At least it is on the weekend

Richard, did you have to shovel out around your grill?? That's crazy! I've never even seen real snow.

Sorry y'all are getting it so bad.

I've never seen anything like this.

Oh wait.......we call this Winter up in Canada and it lasts 6 months a year.

Try to see the brightside. No mosquitos and an infinite sized cooler to store your Superbowl beers.

Also, add 3 minutes(or one beer) per side when cooking your steaks.

i'm jealous, we almost never get snow. although i can't imagine what would happen with 3 feet, everything shuts down here with 3 inches.

Richard, the long term farmers alminac is saying Feb is going to be a very bad month for snow. It's usually right, conditions that are setting up right now over the west cost could lead to another 2-3 feet this week, it's going to turn into a massive storm, it's just a matter if it's going to do it here in the midwest or pass us and dump on you guys again but it's a coming for parts of the country. Time to stock up on groceries.

nah... come to the basque country, here you don't get snow, just a light rain and a lot of good days (not hot, but not cold about 18-20º c all year round except for a handfull of weeks ( average minimum this winter has been 0-5ºc).
We've got no weather or natural disasters here, no earthquakes, no tornadoes, no tropical storms.....

this is changing a bit due to the so called global warming that is making the weather around winter a bit colder.

Oh yeah. It took 30 minutes just to get to the grill. I have been shoveling off and on all day. And of course we are supposed to get 6 more inches on tuesday. damn the globe and their warming.
