WAX bug

I edited a short on a 24fps timeline, and used a WAX transition at the end -- it was a little unstable/quirky, but it worked.

Then I dropped a .MOV title sequence at the beginning and whenever I got to the WAX transition, Vegas 5 up and disappeared. It didn't hang, the application just dropped out.

I've bypassed the problem by rendering out the WAX transition and then inserting that clip in my timeline.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I've never ever gotten Wax/Winmorph to work with Vegas (5 or 6).

Gave up looooong ago.

Yes. In my experience, WAX takes an eminently stable program and throws it to the wolves.

Same here. I got it to work ONCE (on V5), and now Vegas barfs if I even THINK about using it.

It crashed my computer once.....i started yelling madd loud at my computer.

..WAX is such a nice program..but its like filled wit mega bugs....has there ever been an update?

What's WAX used for? Never heard of it ... whatever it is, you guys certainly aren't selling me on it!
