Wavey Flash Conversion from .mov

Hello all!

I'm having a compression issue. Video is high quality, exported as Animation + from FCP for green screen purposes. When flash converts the video, I get waves or lines though high motion areas (hand movement).

Has nothing to do w/ the Green Screen, as this has happened on non-keyed video also.

Is this common? Is there a fix in Flash?

Sounds like a de-interlacing issue. Post a screenshot if you can.

If your source material is Interlaced, you'll have one hell of a time trying to key it out unless it's 4:4:4 material.

It turned out the video needed to be de-interlaced in flash. Once that button was checked, we were good to go.
