Waters and Gilmour reunite

So it did actually happen... I heard about their agreement, but wasn't sure if it would ever pan out...

Saw Roger's "The Wall" tour in Omaha back in October, and it was nothing short of mind-blowing.

Great news, cuz Pink Floyd just don't sound right without Roger Waters.

I agree Waters was as much part of floyd as was gilmore and Barett. But in 1987 I saw them at cleveland stadium, I was in tenth grade I think. Anyways, gilmore did all the vocals, and killed it. He sang alot of their tunes regarldless, It was still great without Waters. But if theRE'S a tour, I will definetly go see them if I have the chance. Thats a once in a lifetime experience.

I remember when they split, and the PR was saying something like "Pink Floyd is still Pink Floyd. Waters was only a small part". Sounded reasonable, until you hear their new stuff, sans Waters. Nothing like the old stuff. Then Waters put out an album (Yeah, I think they still had albums then ), and it was classic Pink Floyd. Reminds me of the "New Coke" vs "Classic Coke" fiasco.

No prob, Terry, thanks for posting the original link! :)

I hope they have video of Roger, David, and Nick doing "Outside the Wall..." the way Roger does it on this tour is pretty cool, and to see those two join in would be amazing... here's hoping they'll be included as extras on whatever DVD you know has to be in the works from this tour...
