Water resistant LED Video Light

Been trying to find a weather, water resistant on-camera video light with around a 75 to 100 Watt halogen equivalent. Do any exist that can be powered from AB 14.4V P-Tap connector? I checked out most of the pricier ones out there and cannot find one that has some sort of sealing against the elements. I am making a short movie that will be shot in mostly in the evening hours with drizzle and some light rain in the park. All filming will be at short distances up tp 20 ft.

hi norman,

i have never come across a waterproof led. my thought is it would quite easy....clear plastic..
if the light is on the camera and you are worried about getting the light wet, what is going to happen to the camera ..........

i would just use an umbrella on a c stand......keeps you dry as well.
cheers

Norman on the pricier ones you checked you should contact the manufacturer and ask them about the IP code & max operating humidity, IP23 should be fine for light rain/mist, some rain covers have protection for lights as well.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. The camera is protected with a clear heavy gauge plastic cover and the cover extends right up to the lens shade where it is taped in place.I have tried the camera in moderate rain and it was dry as bone. I found the led light I need and will cover the sides and back with plastic and the front with a 4X5 inch clear acrylic or lexan that I will duct tape together.

Thanks Pietro, I read that but the lumen output and the narrow spread just is not good for what I need it for. I found out that most powerful units just are not wide enough and are mostly overrated in their lumen output as well as being on the blue tint side. I have been looking everywhere for a really well made LED unit that would have at least a true 1700 to 2000 lumen output with a beam angle of at least 90 degrees and natively be 4000 to 4500K WITHOUT any filtering and be at least weather resistant and compact enough. Most of them just are made for amateurs, cheaply put together and made in China.
