Watch my first Vegas Video!

I can't say much for the camera work, but the edit was fine. Nothing exciting, but not bad for a first attempt. Nice way to start out, nothing complicated just fun.

Exactly what I was going for. Thanks for looking at it. We were just ****ing around in the park one day, and I thought it would make a nice bit of video to test out Vegas and make my girlfriend cry (which she did). My next posting will be in 24p as I'm shooting it with the DVX! It'll be better, so stay tuned.

Dammitjanet, on your next outing with your camera try using the view finder. I get - from your footage - you used the LCD. Better to learn the old ways first grasshooper. The first mistake people make is framing. Second is trying to be part of the action, what mean by that is when you pick up the camera it becomes your life. You must see the world though the camera. Third, slow pans and zooms. Now that we have NLEs we can adjust speed when needed.

Oh BTW cools dogs and the hat that was -well- something LOL

The dogs and hat belong to my friend Kyle (aka The Grecian) I was the guy with the glasses. Like I said before, I was just messing around with his camera and wasn't really paying much attention to camera work. I know what kind of feedback to expect when posting such footage on a forum full of camera-folk though! ;-)

My next short will be a different ballgame altogether, and it'll be on the DVX, so I'll post it accordingly. I'll let the Vegas section know when it's up though.
