washed out uploaded images

I have a problem, whenever i upload any of my images to a gallery/myspace/photobucket etc etc, my images get really washed out.
I cant figure out the problem.
Im using cs2 for all my photocorrection stuff.
And i do the basic satuation boost etc etc.
No matter what i save them as when i upload them they get washed out, but the originals look fine.
Anyone have any ideas?

hmm, not sure. maybe not.
im working off my macbookpro.

ON a Mac? No idea. Does CS2 have a colorspace tool/calibrator thingie?

Worse comes to worse, save a set of colorbars from your NLE and open it up in CS2 and adjust the monitor's brightness/contrast/color until it looks right (or as right as possible).

Ok, my monitors all calibrated.
Still have the same problem though.

Hi infokill, see if in inside photoshop, you can turn off "Color Management" in the Edit > Color Settings tab. Save your current settings before you do that. This may set up your PS so that it shows flatter colors, and when you make your adjustments, it is reflected realistically outside PS's colorspace. Just a guess, worked for me a while back. Then view your pics in another application in OSX outside PS, then upload the jpg's to the net again and see if there's a difference.

Here is an example of what i mean. the one on the left is the edited and saved jpeg, and the one on the right is viewd in safari when i uploaded it.
really washed out.
