Washed out color in HDV > FCP > Quicktime H.264. Please help...

Exporting QuickTimes in H.264 from FCP always look washed out compared to the original... Is this just standard..?

QuickTime 7.3.1
Final Cut Pro 6.0.2
Tiger 10.4.11

I'm using HDV footage (if this has anything to do with it?)

Any advice would be really appreciated, as this is really annoying. Cheers
 
Yes? I've noticed that the colors are a little desaturated on H264 output at times. You try nesting your sequence and bumping up the saturation, or maybe there is a filter option in the H264 export options box that lets you bump it up a little?
