Was my post deleted?

Hi..I made a post asking about project management software, and althought I received some replies, I can no longer find the thread. I did a search and turned up nothing, and I tried looking visually and it's gone. Did I run afoul of some forum rules accidentally?

Any help would be great..I'm working on this software and trying to get some consumer feedback, so if that's not allowed, let me know.

Thanks,

- Jeremy

I don't have any software to plug, I joined this and some other sites I've used in the past to help me with videography issues because I'm trying to make project management software for videographers and I'm looking for feedback from the people that would be using it.

I was not involved in this, but we do have a set of posting guidelines which everyone is supposed to read:

Generally, we frown upon people signing up just to get members involved in their own projects (see #7 of the 8 Ps). However, if you had been at the commercial stage of this project (selling the software you're developing without prior approval), we would have implemented an immediate ban.

Well I understand the sentiment, but the point has been that I'm trying to reach out to other filmmakers to make something for filmmakers, based on a lot of issues I've run into myself. So if thats an issue here, I'll be on my way, but this is a pretty popular forum so it seemed like a good place to come.

If I was selling random things or trying to bring your members over to another forum, I'd understand. Im sure once I reach completion and have the software ready ill buy advertising, but in the meantime I was just trying to get a conversation going about how different people do project management, and what they would like to see in a product that was tailored towards them.
