warm cards

So yeah,

I just got a set of warm cards, the DV kit. Anyone else use these? doesnt it seem like thay are just too warm? I do like a warm picture and all, but I found that putting 1/4 CTB in front of the lens for a WB looked much better than the 1/4 warm card. any thoughts? wish i toko some screenshots.

I got that disc, cost a bit, but I too wondered what were the best warm cards
to get out there.

www.expodisc.com - those discs. I use it to white balance my camera and it
works like instantly.

hmm, that thing is weird, anyone else use em? seems like kind of a hassle to have to screw a filter on to WB the cam.

Hey there. I shoot a lot of Real Estate footage and I can't live with out the #3 card for balancing the day light spill from the windows. I use CTB 1/2 gels on my lighting and the cards work really well.. I use the Minus Green for Kitchen and other florescent lighting.

do the disc ones come off and on only for white balancing or do you leave it on all the time. i have the warm cards and i use the green and 1/2 all the time.
