Wow, awesome. The original film/story is one of my all time favorite sci-fi's....Oh, and I love Tom Cruise...so I'm looking forward to this.

I'm sure it will be a let down, but what the hell.

God, that SB spot is gonna be awesome with a big ol TV and the surround cranked. I haven't been this amped off of a big hollywood flick since Spiderman or Xmen 2. Thanks for posting it, Cant wait till it comes out.

I think it was H.G. Wells book that inspired the original. Don't think Orson Welles had anything to do with it.

Orson Welles did a radio adaptation on Oct. 30, 1938 -- people, whose ancestors now inhabit the red states, believed it to be real and freaked out.

**** you Gabe, Orson's performance was so commanding that many people were fooled. Remember, America was still switching from an agrarian society to an industrial one. War of The Worlds was on radio, so it must be true! Orson is a master.
