War of the Worlds Secret Hebrew?

J.R. Hudson

Spirit Animal
I froze this shot merely to look at the beauty of it and then noticed what appeared to 'words' or lines across the image and thought to myself 'What the **** is that?'

I then adjusted the contrast in PhotoShop and noticed something even more peculiar; what appears to be handwriting ? Am I trippin or is this some National Treasure thingy ? Like, am I seeing Hebrew ?

Trip on it and let me know what your mind sees

First I thought its one of these "Look a minute close to the picture" and then suddenly an zombie screams at you and you freak out.

But then I started to see some handwriting and started working with photoshop. After some filtering I got this:

Desatureted and flipped:

Looks like "jung gur cbb?" or something. Maybe its some kind of secret code?
There used to be a simple algorithm, ROT or ROT13 or something like that.

LOL you hoaxy mofo. I just spent all that time looking up what that meant.

(that's pretty funny though)

I sent this over to my Kaballistic Rabbi friend and he translated it to say:

"It's a good thing Orsen Welles didn't live to see this amazingly crappy version of what could have been an awesome movie were it not directed by a jaded ass"

He said there's really not a Hebrew character for "jaded ass" but the actual character that was written is never to be spoken as is for fear of something far worse than a cussing filter and "jaded ass" was a suitable a substitute.

oh please tell me you're not call Steven Spielberg a "jaded ass"... please just say it... Spielberg is a God among directors (i know not all but most). He is one of... no he IS the greatest film director of all time. now i saw "War of the World" and loved it minus the last 10 minutes or so... that's the only problem i really had with the movie. If you don't like the man fine but don't come in here and knock people's idols. I'd bite my tongue if i were you on the issue of Spielberg....

also before anyone gets into this arguement again... check this out.... we've already discussed this topic on spielberg

No dudes; I'm not saying this is some miracle Da Vinci thingy; I'm asking if it's possible some CGI guy's layered something into the shot (As in the infamous tennis shoe in Jedi)

Is it, or isn't it 'text-like' ?

Nah, I don't think it is... What's the point if it's not readable?
Maybe some DVD transfer artifacting? Overexposure+flares+compression+interlacing...
