War of the Gimbals: Letus 1-axis & 3-axis gimbal

Nice approach. The one axis paired with steadicam offers a lot of potential for crappy steadicam ops like myself!

That would actually offer a lot more than just horizon correction when mounted on a Steadicam--if you neutrally balanced the rig (infinite drop time), you could flip it over during the shot from high to low mode, or halfway inbetween which would allow you to fly over objects etc. Basically this was the concept behind the original Alien rig which became the AR, and Steadicam was showing exactly this at their booth at the show (they bought the original patent on a rear-mounted roll axis system mounted to a Steadicam).

Well I am looking for a 3 axis stabiliser for my Go Pro 4. Wondering if there is any 3 axis offering. Letus has a 1 axis for Go Pro.

I'm building a 1-axis DIY for my flycam nano and a7s. It kind of works, I'll try to upload a test sometime in November.
