Wanted

[ExtremeSleuth]

Just saw this. Awesome action flick. I knew to suspend my disbelief when I found out it was based on a graphic novel (no matter how far it may stray from original source material). This hooked you from the beginning and kept you on the edge of your seat. I can't say enough about it.

Honestly, the textile action scene near the end of the film is one of the best action scenes ever put on celluloid. Pure adrenaline. Totally bad ass. Go see this flick.

Totally agree with ZFarms... I caught the midnight showing last night and... wow. Rarely do I go see movies more than once in the theater, but I am definitely catching it again this weekend. I'm very interested in hearing the opinions of people who are not familiar with Timur's style. I loved Night Watch and Day Watch and knew what to expect going into Wanted. Heh... I went in with high expectations and this movie exceeded them.

And yeah, that textile scene was freakin' phenomenal. I thought it was even better than The Matrix's lobby scene.

i really dug it. leave your brain at the door and just enjoy the over-the-top mindless action for 2 hours. it worked for me, the only aspect i didnt like was the rats. its definitely a matrix/fight club mix and i loved both of those.

this movie was tons better than daywatch, whew, i was worried after seeing that one.

anyhow this gets a thumbs up in my book. as loki said - pure adrenaline rush.

and on a side note, why was there a 2nd thread started for this?
