or something similar.

this is the murraypro one, when i've used it before and it seemed ok ish. for £1300 i'd want it to be infallible though.

Anyone know where I can get this thing or something similar? I've been looking at straight video senders, but have found nothing thats as dedicated a design as this for location.

what about 2.4 gh senders recievers , most can work on 12 v dc - couple of hundrets mostly ( $ not pounds:-))

if you know any I could look up oleg let me know! i've found very consumer 2.4GHz video senders, nothing pro. $19.95 from china on eBay and that sort of cr@p.

also check the regullar uhf transmiters for short range which in use between the rooms when you dont want go with cables , it would work for 30-40 yards

scooby,

I bought one of the chinese $20 ebay versions, and they actually work really well. They require AC (but supposedly can be set to run on a 9V battery if you have the soldering skills).

They aren't perfect, but the range seems pretty good, they're legal in the U.S. (some of the UHF senders here are not "legal").

Give it a shot. All you're out is $20 if you don't like them.

thanks phil, i'll look further into it, like you say, 20 bucks so what if its rubbish. would be great if I could devise the powering from a 4pin hirose. and if the design wasn't a big trendy living room peice, just a neat square box would do.

ps oleg I looked at loads of spy kit sites but could only really find audio transmitters, or camera transmitters (rather than a composite video signal)

I bought one of these from aisia, will chime in when I've found of how it performs....

It would be great if the audio was transmitted the other way from the video.. then I could record a wireless guidetrack on the camera.
