Wanted: LED on-camera light shootout

Yeah, make sure to look at it - Taky's comparison is one of the most useful I've seen. It'll make you buy a Comer...

hehe.. I am glad I can help. At the time I was making that comparison video, I wasn't selling any Comer lights. I shoot a lot of weddings and they are all in dim receptions ball rooms. So I have been trying different on-camera lights throughout the years. VL-10 and SWIT lights were the ones I have been using. Litepanel is just so weak.

Until I found Comer lights, it is nothing compaired to those I used before. For the last several wedding gigs I did with the Comer lights, the outcome is great. Not only I'm impressed, the photographers also said the same thing. So they can take photos without even using flash. If you are like me that you need to shoot video in dark environment, the comer light is a great choice.

Another tricky shooting enviroment is to zoom in in not well lit room. Aperture is smaller during zooming in.. With Comer there is a trick to condense the light to one strong beam. I'm going to shoot some video to show how to do that. =)

Taky, I see that you also sell the Canon BP970 battery for $42. That is a great price! How do they compare to the Canon OEM or the Impact batteries?

Huy, yes I'm selling BP970G and I'm using them too! I have Canon BP-970G .. and WHAT A RIP OFF. It's over $150!!!! I have been using BP-970G generic brand for 2 years now. They still hold the charge very well. Each one last about 3.5 hours of usage since I'm using XLR mic that draws power from it. But the battery is solid and works very well.

For the price I paid for the Canon, I can get 4 generic brand at the same price.

I don't have Impact brand so I can't comment on theirs.
