We're looking for already completed independent feature films 70 minutes and longer for distribution on a mobile platform currently in development for Apple's iOS ecosystem: iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. (We also expect to be on Amazon's devices later this year.) Films can be in either HD or SD format (HD preferred).

There is not cost to distribute your film or prepare it for distribution with our platform. We handle encoding, streaming, downloading and in-app purchasing of your film.
Filmmakers will receive a 70% cut of the gross revenue from purchases of your film[1] from the first dollar received, period. If we don't think your film will sell, we won't distribute it.

If you have commercial music, we have a special program to obtain the necessary rights. This is a huge benefit of our platform, and separates us from pretty much everything else out there right now. Because of this, we especially want to promote films that make good use of commercial music.

Our platform is currently targeted at films with production budgets up to $30K, and was created to enable films at this production level to actually earn their production budget back, so the filmmaker can make another film. As the audiences for the films we distribute grows, we expect production budgets to increase as well. We also have Kickstarter integration built-in to our platform to help promote your next film.

Please PM me if you're a filmmaker or producer with a film that fits this description.

Best, Erich Ocean
FTS Films LLC

P.s. We're still in stealth mode, and getting feedback from filmmakers. We expect to make a public announcement in June/July. Distribution details are subject to change.

[1] "Gross revenue from purchases of your film" is calculated based on the revenue received from the platform provider (e.g. Apple) when your film is purchased, which itself is 70% of the price the consumer pays. For example, a $1.99 purchase would result in $1.99 * 70% = $1.393 in gross revenue to FTS Films, and you would receive 70% of that, or $0.9751. The 30% to us covers bandwidth to deliver the film, encoding costs, etc.
