Hey guys im sorry if this is not the right thread to post this in. I have just started to use motion for the first time. I am using it to create my opening title. I have got it to a point where I am really happy except for one thing. I want the title to come into focus as it moves forward into the screen. In other words for it to start out of focus then pull into focus.

I think I may have to do something with focus or something? I'm not too sure and would appreciate any help you guys could give me :)

below is the link to the youtube video of my title so far :) (obviously without the rack focus)

Make sure you are using Motion 4 and select your camera. Turn on Depth of Field in the render menu or (CTRL+OPTION+D) Then you can add a focus behavior or keyframe whatever attributes you want to change in the camera properties tab. Also, if you have an object selected and you hit (CTRL+F) it will automatically focus on that object (useful for keyframing etc..) Hope that helped!

Thanks a lot. i actually just did it with key frames and blur on the text. Worked just as well as i'd hoped. But your way makes a lot more sense lol. Ah well you learn from your mistakes hey
