Re: Walter Graff Custom Lighting Gear

That is really awesome! Just one question. How come you posted this thread and not Walter? Do you guys work together?

Re: Walter Graff Custom Lighting Gear

No I don't work with Walter. I attended his seminar this weekend and found out about his products and am posting them here to share with the DVX family.

Re: Walter Graff Custom Lighting Gear

Ray-
Did you attend his workshop at the Abel CineTech offices in New York? I have had a couple of people asking for my opinion of it and, being in our LA office, I was not able to attend myself. Assuming you are a DVX shooter, how did you feel it applied to what you usually shoot? Would you say it was worth attending?

Re: Walter Graff Custom Lighting Gear

Yes I did attend the seminar in NYC. I highly recommend going to a Walter Graff seminar. Walter’s approach to lighting enables you to see him in action and leave with an understanding of lighting as you have never had before. He is not only knowledgeable in Lighting as we all well know, but has the ability to teach it in a very refreshing manner. You may not be able to duplicate all that he has done in the seminar, but you will leave with a whole new perspective and understanding of the concepts he teaches! As a result of that, your approach to the art of lighting will change dramatically and you will ask yourself a totally different set of questions and find new innovative approaches the next time you go to turn on your camcorder.
