My lighting bag exploded just before I was traveling out of town on a shoot. I did not have time to order a new one and get it shipped before I left so I went down to LWalmart and this is what I came up with. I am actually thrilled with it and liked it better then my old lighting case.
It is a Stanley Fat Max toolbox.
All my travel lights are Lowel. The top has:
3 Pro Lights (250s)
2 Omnis (500)
1 Total (750)
The Middle has:
Lav Mic,
adapters
c47s
Follow Focus Gears
hex tools for 35mm adapter
Lots of batteries
Tape Stock
Gloves
The bottom is filled with about 10 stingers and all the lowel cables.
for 74 bucks I was thrilled. I got a descent case and I finally have a place for all those ods and ends that are needed on a shoot.
Even when I purchase a lighting case again I will stay take one of these for all the small parts.
Here it is on the stanley website.
