"Waiting..." What was it shot on?

Cause it looks like it was shot on Sh*t. How could a movie with that kind of cast be shot on such a terrible format and lit so terribly?
 
It was shot on 35mm.

...don't think for a second that I actually watched it though.
 
In the last six hours I've become obsessed with the making of this movie. Wondering how the hell it was done and why anybody did it. It has hot as coals Dane Cook, the funny ass dude from Con, Alanis Morisette's husband, Anna Faris, Andy Milanokas, Guzman... I ended up finding the director's blog which is kind of funny in that his producer was Jeff Balis from Project Greenlight fame.

He listed the budget at 3 million.

Man, what I wouldn't give for a website that tells you how much of that money went to the stars (so we know what the actual working production budget was - which, since this looks to have been shot on a Sony TRV-17, was probably like 1200 bucks) and how much, went to advertising. Is this site out there?

Yeah, it's kinda interesting. The guy apparently had NO directing experience/film experience AT ALL before doing this movie. I mean it just goes to show you, if he can do it, why can't any of us?
