Wow, only in America. The fact that you can make what looks like a very in your face movie about the current leader is quite astounding, but I think thats pretty cool. I might have to see it just cause.

Well, talking about W without talking about 9/11 and "The War on Terror" is taking out one of the defining moments of the character...While not a war movie, it certainly should not be a JFK or Nixon, either- different leaders, different times, different struggles.

Of course, the story of a father's boy (whose father happened to be President of the United States), average student, former corporate C.E.O whose leading capacities where, shall we say, questionable, achieve the pinnacle in U.S Politics for 2 consecutive therms is a very good story in itself...

Don't forget jet pilot, two term governor of Texas, freed 50 million people from places like Iraq and Afganistan, had maybe 50,000 terrorist fighters killed in Iraq, forced Osama to live in a cave since 2001, historic low unemployment and record high stock markets but you won't see any of that in the movie from Oliver Stone. It will be a political comedy to mock the president and have some hollywood buddies pat him on the back.

Maybe Stone thinks President Bush is running for a third term? I wouldn't waste any money on this film.

Hmmm.... seen the movie already have you?
I'm sorry but you seem to be taking this movie far too personally.

W is fair game, just like everyone else.

I will probably wait to rent it myself but I won't claim to know the quality of it until I watch it.
