Vz Dv Sportster Vs Smooth Shooter

The DV Sportster is 799.00, the Smooth Shooter is 1,399. Is the DV Sportster an affordable alternative? What's the difference between the two? Can I get great smooth shots with my HVX, GC 4000 and the DV Sportster? Or should I save more money and get the Smooth Shooter? Anybody?
 
Ok, I see one has a single arm and one has a dual arm. So a better question is what's better the Indicam or the Smooth Shooter?
