I was wondering what program/features in that program I would use to change a recording of my voice to sound more like a speech recording like old president's speeches. Any help?
Don't sleep for 5 days, drink lots of whiskey, lie and brag and then you'll sound authentic.
Actually there are scratchy type filters that can be applied for the old Gramophone sound. You also need to roll off bass & treble so it's low fidelity....no high-fi around here!
What programs..Adobe Audition has a distortion filter, use the presets (Sharp Fuzz) and also tweak the EQ with a telephone curve or something similiar.
I got a copy of Adobe Audition which has a filter that does that 1950s radio sound. I've played around with some Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Bobby Darin with this filter and it sounds really cool.
It's a *free* DirectX compatible (meaning you can use it in Vegas) plugin that will make a recording sound like an old record. Some EQ will get you the rest of the way.
