.VOBs clipped

I ripped an old project off of a DVD to edit in Vegas. The project is split into two .VOB files. I'm missing about a half a second of audio from the end of the first .VOB, and it clips some dialogue. The dialogue isn't on the beginning of the second .VOB. When I watch the DVD, the dialogue is present.

I tried reripping the DVD, but I got the same results.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Gabe,

Try using DVDShrink to reauthor the two .VOBs as a single .VOB.

Go into Edit>Preferences>Output Files and uncheck Split VOB files into 1 GB chunks.

Gabe, are you talking to yourself? Did you forget to take the pills again?

Hey, how is it going? We should gang up on Barry to finish up the video or turn over the tapes ;). I never knew that the title 'Unreasonable' related to post-production... ;D
