VMA's : Is anyone else being tortured?

Now thats funny. Last night my GF insisted on watching this too. I HATE the MTV awards ceremony. A lot of screaming and egos and highschool BS. I don't know if any of you had a 'LIP SYNC' at your high school...

Its a show where anyone in the highschool can audition with a musical number from a band or group they like...and at the performance...the students will 'lip sync' the song either by acting it out or 'performing it'...well, as cheesy as it sounds it was a HUGE hit...the auditorium was FILLED with cheers and screams and popularity contests...etc.

What I am trying to say is that the VMA is like a Lip Sync on Steroids.
