vma awards

I was watching it for like 5 mins but then well I started editing and now its 8:20... so there ya go
 
I'm done with MTV! There starting to put out some really stupid ****! It's the same **** over and over. The VMA used to be fun watching but now its starting to look more Nickalodeon. i was watching it for about 3 mins and its starting to get really anoying! The camera keeps cutting to the same faces over and over. Show me something different! I'm watching Family Guy and now I'm a lot happier! :)

MTV started to suck a long time ago.
 
Some of their stuff is ok....like a few shows....one show i cant stand with a passion is Punk'D...OMFG!!! I HOPE THAT SHOW DIES!! AAHHH ESPECIALLY THE RE RUNS!!

Laguna beach.....all i wanna say is...hopeless 18 year olds who have nothing else better to do but talk about each other and swim in a nice beach...go kill yourselves..those ppl suck....but one thing i like about that show is the filming....if you actually sit there and study the filming..its perrty coool..they get some cool shots in here or there from time to time..

but besides that...MTV..is booty.

Yeah....MTV does suck....but I gotta hand it to them with Stankervision. They got something that can finally compete with Comedy Central. Yucko the Clown is just CLASSIC!! Check it out sometime.

I haven't seen the VMA yet. But about Mtv, I really cannot agree with you guys...Mtv is on all the time over here. All the cuts and breaks in between the programs are all so incredibly smart. If ever there was a channel that shows shorts that have good concepts behind them, it is Mtv. I live in Europe, so I am not sure whether you get to see the same stuff as I do, but really just have look at everything that announces a commercial break to a totally irrelevant short....they are amazing and to me great inspiration for editing.

Actually, I think it's not just inspirational to me, but for a lot of editors doing broadcast work as well. I now get to see more and more small tricks and graphical styles in normal everyday programs on national television that were introduced by things on Mtv a while ago.
 
yes, sometimes I record those cool trciks, so later I can watch them frame by frame, and analyse, so in my productions I develop and then combine these tricks with my ideas. (of course everything is rebuilt, and I use only developt base of the effect) I mean nothing illegal.
