I'm doing a lot of compressing from FCP to MPEG4-H.264 for podcasts. I've used Compressor 2 and Sorenson Squeeze and now people tell me to try Episode Pro at $595 (on special), but to my mind nothing is as simple or stable as the $29 Visual Hub (a nice implementation of ffMPEG). It is a fraction of the price and twice as fast as Compressor and Sorenson and the results seem... dare I say it?... better (gulp). Is anyone else using it? Am I deluded?
