Vingetting?

Does anyone know how to make realistic looking vingetting?.....besides of course paying for Magic Bullet or that other plugin thing.
 
You can create a circular gradation in photoshop (a-ppply to square and then resize to aspect ratio) and use this as a top layer (darken mode)
I think theres a built in plugin though that provides gradations.
