Vine Shorts Fest

Just wandering if anyone else has a short film in the Vine Shorts Fest going on in Santa Monica this week and next? The fest seems a little suspect (they accepted like 300 short films and the program schedule is just text in microsoft word, ha), but I was still going to go to the opening event last night and see my screening today, but I'm broke and couldn't afford the gas to get up there. Did anyone go to this?
 
My short is in too...I'm going to catch my screening on Nov. 2, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm pretty skeptical too...
 
But if it makes you feel better, they accepted 186 films, not 300. Out of 600. Hmm...maybe that won't make you feel better.
 
Definitely let me know. I might be able to make the trip up from SD for my Nov. 10th showing. Did they mail you your passes or are you just supposed to pick them up at the festival? It started today and I still haven't heard back from them about my RSVP....
 
Yeah, I don't know and was wondering the same thing. I get tons of mass e-mails but never replies to my specific concerns. It all seems pretty janky. Guess we'll find out.
