Hi!
I was wondering whether I am alone with this. I bought a customized Equinox ProPak8 housing for my DVX100 w/ 4" dome.
There is extreme vignetting that gets worse once submersed in water. You can not see the black corners in the viewfinder or when you play back the DVD on a TV as they stay just ouside of the safe zone.
Playing back the footage on a PC is an entirely different story.
I am not using a wideangle adapter. I am now trying to figure out how to correct their oversight by making a new dome protector that has cutouts in the corners.
I have contacted TJ from Equinox but have yet to get a reply...
