Vignetting when stopping down 'taking' lens

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me why my Nikkor 50mm f.18 could be vignetting 'hardcore" when I stop it down. See images below.

HVX Settings: - Wide open, 1/25 shutter. first pic above lens @ f1.8 then @ f4
