Vignetting w/ Ex1 and Letus on camera movement

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Everything was setup correctly and there's no signs of vignetting with the image on static shots but with any sharp camera movement, there's a slight shade of black that briefly appears on the sides of the frame.

The only thing I can think of is that my Letus was designed with a 82mm thread, so the setup ring (77mm to 82mm) that's on my EX-1 adds that slight amount of space, creating the vignetting from the Letus on the sides of the frame.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this affects it but is your OIS off?

Definitely OIS (optical image stabilization).

OIS is great for handheld shots with the integrated lens, but if you are shooting with 1) a 35mm adapter and/or 2) on sticks, turn it off.

ois has actually boned me a couple times on quick jib and dolly shots too - and that was w/o an adapter. It works good under the correct circumstances but remember to turn it off when not in use
