Hey guys,
I am trying to watch the video feed from my hvx200 through the component connection on my Astar 16:9 720p/1080i hd compatiable lcd tv.
Whenever i try this, in either recording or live, 1080i or 720p mode in the camera, I get all these scratchy short lines that mimick the color of the menu screen text (the greens and oranges) when I go back to 480i, everything looks great (well, not that great, i want 720p
My tv manual says it is 720/1080i compatiable, but I have no way of checking it since i have no hd dvd or blueray play. I do connect my mac through the vga connection which gets 1600X1000 or so resolution. I have the cables plugged in right and everything, I think, you never can know until you know.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
