I know I can view my work on a TV running firewire out through my camera, then s video out of my camera into a switch box then to my TV to test how it looks. But it is very slow and jerky. I just wanted to Know if there is settings in the program that will make it better or something I can buy to make it work better.

Please help

If your work is on a 24p timeline it is going to look jerky since in is not interlaced like the 60i timeline. In addition..if you have any effects put on the timeline they will also cause the jerkyness since they have to be rendered out first before it is transfered. When you do a final burn to DVD the jerkyness should go away.

Just notice why are you going from your camera to a switch box and not straight to the TV?

Thanks for the help come to think of it I was using some effects and the TV has no s video input

If you plug your camera into a computer with a video capture card you can run an av-cable for the video-out port to your tv and it should run on your av channel.
