Vietnam Dirty look

Hey all I am finishing all my jungle shots for my short film about the Vietnam war. My question is really more geared towards makeup. Basically I am wondering how I can pull of a sweaty dirty look on the actors faces. Is there a specific type of makeup that I can use, or just simple water and dirt?

Glycerine is an old standby for sweating actors up. It's persistent, you can easily control the amount you use, and it's (mostly) hypo allergenic.

where can I pick some of that up at? also what about dirt?

Glycerine is an off-the-shelf drugstore or beauty-store item.

For dirt, you might try Fuller's Earth sieved for fine-ness.
