VidLED's MP3400 trouble

Hi people!

Today, after having my package held up by the Dutch customs for two weeks, I finally received my VidLED. I bought a MP3400 battery pack with it.

However, there seems to be a problem... the MP3400 doesn't work at all. The VidLED doesn't acquire any power from it and when putting the switch to the "lock" mode and pushing the voltage button doesn't show anything.
Also when I try to charge my MP3400, the green LED on the charger franticly blinks and the same goes for the MP3400's red LED. I don't know if this is normal, but the fact is that it doesn't work.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known issue?

I just contacted the guys at VidLED, but I was wondering if anyone experienced the same problem.

hmmm sounds like a bad battery, but I'm sure vidled will get back to you ASAP and get it straightened out - hes good like that

Never had one problem with any Vidled product... not one. You might want to give them a call or email... is the connector fully seated?

Yeah the connector is fully seated. I'm sure the VidLED is ok, but the battery is a third party product which they have no control over.

I just did a voltage check with a voltage meter and there is no power going through it at all. So I'm sure the battery is broken.

Yes, sorry about the battery. We'll send another battery (see email).

In the future, we will:

1) open the packages for third party products, and check the items for international customers

2) ship ONLY with FedEx Priority to the Netherlands (it's now the #1 country we've had problems with when sending items with USPS. Either them getting "lost", or with customs.)

The customs are indeed a real pain here. I have no idea what is wrong with them. I've heard stories from people here, who received their packages after two to six months due to the customs.
