Vidleds...are U Back In Prod. Again ?

This production delay couldn't have come at a better time! 
What happened:
The company that makes the housings lost our injection mold tool. They are now remaking it, so hence the long delay. We're not really getting good feedback from them as to how long this will take exactly, but we are in constant communication with them. Best I can tell it's still about 6 weeks off.
The reason why timing isn't all that bad (for us):
We can now take a much deserved breather from making the lights and concentrate on:
1) designing new lights, and
2) catch up with video production/post production of various projects. The latter is also the reason why we aren't quite as responsive to feedback (which quadrupled recently, by the way) as we ought to be.
I'd like to apologize to all who want a VIDLED light fast, and hope that you can be patient, as we design new products, and re-start manufacturing of the current model.

Well, in the meantime I went ahead and bought a SKC-105 LED VIDEO LIGHT http://batteries4broadcast.com/lb105_cart.htm from batteries4broadcast.com.
It's lightweight, my DVX battery (both brand and off-brand) fit right on to the back of the unit, it's very easy to pop in a gel or diffusion, and I got it within a week of ordering it. I don't know if I can throw it against a building without harming it, but it seems pretty rugged and so far I'm quite happy with it.
