You need to build two pages: one with the link and one with the actual video.

The page with the video is easy enough to create. just search for "emed quicktime movie" on google or go here:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/embed.html

then you have to make a link that opens this page in a new (target) window. this is also easy to do:
http://www.pageresource.com/jscript/jwinopen.htm

that's really all you need

what you are doing is opening a new window with just the video in it. if you want to control the behaviour of the window (background colour, title etc) you have to build a separate html page containing the video and then link to it. So instead of "window.open("Testtt.mov" etc you have "window.open("htmlPageContainingYourVideo.html"

also, i keep all my videos on my external, how can i ifnd the path to my extyernal?
