Video Transition question

Does anyone know how to achieve a transition with FCP6 that looks like what I think is known as a gate flash. When one clip goes to another there is an over exposure flash. Maybe it's there but I cant find it in the video transitions effects. The closest thing I could find is "Dip to Color Dissolve" using white. Any ideas.

I use the Dip to Color. I set the color to white and the duration somewhere between 5 and 10 frames depending on the effect I'm looking for. There may be a easier way but this works for me.
