I am a little embarased that I cant figure this out but...
I am editing in premier 6.5 on a mac. its a DP 2ghz with 3 gig of ram and a lacie firewire 800 tetrabyte drive.
Whenever I try to view and clips in the preview window they skip/pause every second for what looks to be about 12 frames or so, then will pick back up till the next second. The audio is fine, when I lay the clip down to the timeline and use the timeline preview they play fine. When I view the clips in iMovie (i digitize some of my footage of my crappy camera in iMovie) they look fine.
When I view any of the clip I digitized in premier they look fine, but I am putting together a kayaking video and there are a TON of clips and its way easier to digitize in iMovie.
Any guesses what the problem is?
