Video Senders

Hey All,
I am in the look-out for a video sender for my rig. I see Markertek has a Laird for $450. & ebay is riddled with all types of sender / receiver sets. Any experience from U guys ?

I do SteadiCam, so lots of wips & moves are important. Is movement a problem for the cheaper units ?

Hmmmm ....

Re: Video Senders

yes movement is a problem with the cheaper ones, as the antennas bounce the poor frequencies off everything.

Re: Video Senders

Shotwatcher works great while moving.
The 2.4 Ghz units need to lock onto the signal. Every time you move, it needs to relock and there is breakup during relock. If you aren't moving, the better 2.4 Ghz units work great.

Re: Video Senders

that shotwatcher is just so damn ridiculous looking.

Re: Video Senders

Hey Thanks,
Has anyone tried the one from Markertek ? Shot Watcher seems cool too. Hmmm ..... another car payment spent on something else fun !! Who needs a car anyway.

Re: Video Senders

The ones I see in the Markertek catalog are 2.4 Ghz. They will break up when moved but are great for stationary sending
