Video Rental House: XLH1 AND HVX200? LA/Santa Monica

Anyone? Evs doesn't have the XLH1, and we need to rent both cameras at the same time.

Does anyone know of a place that'll actually answer the phone?

Birns and Sawyer = No good. Tried for an two hours and it's WAY past lunch time. No one ready to help.

DV24p.net = Nothing from these guys either.

We need to get ready to rent like asap.
 
Checked the website, didn't look like they had the cameras but I'll call to make sure.

Birns and Sawyer FINALLY picked up... They've got the H1 but booked on the HVX200.

Funny that we want to spend the money but can't.

Samys doesn't have either camera. >=\

So I'll have to rent from two different places at this point. That's not fun at all.
 
Yeah tell me about it.

Because we can't rent the HVX200, we can't rent the XLH1.

So now I have to wait to play with EITHEr camera.
 
Kholi, talk to Shannon Rawls, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to participate in another shootout, he owns 2 H1's now and lives real close by.

No. I didn't look into it. I'm forced to do the HVX200 and the XLH1 at the same time by the company--

So we're going to have to wait until we can get BOTH at the same time. Kinda sucks. I was really looking forward to this weekend. =(
 
Can you leave the set up and keep the lights in the same position until you get the other camera?
 
Nah. We won't be able to do the setups on set, that's why.

It's a really good time for us to go ahead and do it before the show starts shooting for television, as well.

We'll make it in time... hopefully. I'm sure someone'll get a shipment and put another into rental. Seems like you'd make a killing on rentals at the moment instead of outright selling. But, I could be wrong.
